K-Mac Technical Information
Macadamias perform well in any loose soil with a pH of at least 4.5 to 8.0. They also benefit from inputs of potassium, such as K-Mac. K-Mac macadamia fertiliser has a high pH (8.6), which results in superior potassium (K) uptake.

Application of K-Mac fertiliser to macadamia trees
K-Mac can be foliar applied to a range of nut, fruit and vegetable crops. When it comes to fertilising macadamia nut trees specifically, it’s important not to apply any fertiliser for the first six to eight weeks after planting. Non-bearing macadamia trees need to be given time to overcome transplanting shock, adjust to the new environment, and allow the roots to grow out of the potting into the surrounding soil.
